@Tfreetime create a new layer and put the background on one layer and the text on the other. Then lock the background layer and follow the tutorial

@Tfreetime You need to use layers. If you have a background, put that on the bottom layer, then put your text on the layer above that. If you lock the background layer it'll be just as you intended it to be. |
